Mr. McGaugh has served as Founder and CEO of Cornhusker Capital, LLC since 2010 and brings more than 30 years of mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising experience.
After earning his MBA, Mr. McGaugh completed the divestiture of Ryder System, Inc.’s One-Way Rental Truck Division. He also participated in the sale of Prudential Healthcare to Aetna, where he was responsible for the profitability of 14 markets. He was part of the team that sold Inacom and was retained to complete the sale of the Inacom Communications division.
Mr. McGaugh’s experience spans the healthcare, energy, telecommunications, and transportation sectors. He has served as Managing Director at Houlihan Smith & Company and Senior Managing Director at Madison Street Capital. His analyst and consulting experience includes Harley-Davidson Financial Services, MidAmerican Energy Holdings, Peoples Energy, the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital, Ryder Logistics, and WestLB Mellon Private Equity.
Mr. McGaugh earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1990 and an MBA from Florida A&M University’s School of Business & Industry in 1994. Before earning his MBA, he completed a two-year formal credit training program at Wells Fargo Bank.
